AbleLight is currently hiring a Director of Human Resources.

The Director of HR is in alignment with the desired direction of the CHRO, ensures all the HR functions are executing efficiently with strategic execution, decision-making, and managing key projects and processes that ensure an effective experience for the users. This role is often seen as the CHRO’s right-hand. Work includes managing and directing projects, facilitating communication between departments, providing administrative and strategic support to the CHRO by managing the day-to-day operational activities of the function. As part of the Human Resource Leadership team, provides insights into strategic planning and implements execution. Promotes operational excellence and alignment to AbleLight’s perspectives and strategic priorities. Those cycles of service include volunteerism, team member survey, employee recognition, HR Calendar, HR Operational/Functional Goal Check Ins, Team Member Guidebook, maintaining our AbleLight HR page and HR share point site.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience.
- Experience in two or more SME areas of human resources, prior leadership experience, prior process improvement experience, working in a multi-state/multi-site industry.
- Experience in IDD industry preferred but not required.
- Must reside in Missouri, Colorado, or Wisconsin.
- Travel based upon organizational needs.

Responsibilities:
- Works in partnership with the HR Leadership Team to drive day to day operations and operational improvements throughout the organization.
- Facilitates, tracks and project manage work groups from key functional and operational areas to document key processes, improve key processes, and track the impact of process improvement efforts keeping the user experience top of mind.
- Facilitates the development of HR standard practices by collaborating with key stakeholders to aggregate & document current practices and standards and then work methodically to iterate and improve them on a continuous basis.
- Takes a pro-active approach that continuous improvement with the goal of increasing the quality, efficiency, and efficacy of our services.
- Ensures process are established using a data driven and initiative-taking approach keeping the user’s experience and impact to AbleLight top of mind. This includes but is not limited HR operational and function goals tracking and management, HR policies and procedures, maintaining AbleLink HR page and HR share point sties.
- Often seen as the CHRO right hand and is a member of the Human Resource Leadership Team This includes quality of care, experience of the services, financial responsibility, strategic growth, and hiring and retaining the right talent.
- Will establish the foundational components of AbleLight’s volunteer function including building the internal team, processes, recruiting and management of AbleLight volunteers in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Facilitation of regular meetings and assuring required trainings are completed and documented for the support of People We Serve (PWS) and quality, compliance expectations.
- Show recognition and appreciation.
- Actively supports quality through preparation and participation in state licensing survey as required and specifically in walk-though, exit meetings, and responses required.
