Engineering Co-op Student

Westmoreland Mining currently has an opening available at the Estevan Mine starting in January 2025 for an 8- to 12-month term.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Support for Drone operations when required.
• Analysis and design work leveraging Drone data to be used in infrastructure projects, reclamation projects, and dragline planning.
• Updating of AutoCAD maps.
• Support for daily data entry and work with different data sets for purposes of analysis or tracking of information.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Be currently enrolled in a civil, geological, or mining engineering program.
• Have a strong knowledge of software including but not limited to Excel and AutoCAD.
• Demonstrate ability to adapt to tight deadlines, sudden or frequent changes in priority.
• Demonstrate effective interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
