POSITION SUMMARY:
- The Account Executive, Contract Sales reports to the Director of Contract Sales
- Located in Nashville, TN
- Full-Time
- Remote but must reside in Nashville area

The Nashville Account Executive, within Contract Sales, is a vital role within the organization, responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with current customers to drive sales and revenue growth. This position requires a dynamic and results-driven individual with a strong foodservice equipment background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to strategically manage key accounts. The Account Executive will collaborate closely with customers and internal team to ensure all equipment and smallwares needs are met.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Account Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with established customer base , serving as the primary point of contact for all sales-related inquiries and activities.
- Assist and direct customer in all foodservice equipment and smallwares needs
Sales Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to maximize revenue within assigned accounts, aligning with company objectives and priorities.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive environment in the industry.
Quoting & Proposal Development:
- Prepare and present accurate and compelling sales proposals, quotes, and presentations to clients, highlighting the value proposition and benefits of the company's products and services.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure profitable, long-term partnerships.
Sales Performance Tracking & Reporting:
- Monitor sales performance metrics, including revenue, sales pipeline, open orders, and accounts receivables for accounts assigned.
- Prepare regular sales reports and updates for management, providing insights and recommendations for optimizing sales.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, sales activities, and account information in CRM systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data.
- Proactively address customer inquiries, concerns, and escalations, providing timely and effective resolution to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
COMPETENCIES:
- Strong understanding of sales principles, techniques, and strategies, with the ability to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
- Understanding of foodservice kitchen operations and equipment
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building and maintaining long-term relationships.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans and initiatives to achieve business objectives and drive increased share of wallet.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas and proposals in a clear and compelling manner.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders and secure favorable terms and agreements.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, solve problems, and address customer needs effectively.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required, or equivalent military or practical experience.
- 2 – 4 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development, with a proven track record of success in managing accounts and driving sales growth.
- Experience in the foodservice, hospitality, or related industry.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.
The range provided represents the national average pay range for this position and is considered to be a general guideline. Pay for this position will reflect the candidate’s unique qualifications and may be higher or lower than the range provided based on employee geographic location. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other local, state, and federal law.
In addition to base salary, this role will be eligible for participation in TriMark’s’ benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401K (with employer match), etc. Leadership positions may also qualify for participation in bonus programs commensurate with role and scope of responsibility.
