POSITION SUMMARY:

As the Divisional Senior Director of Design in the construction services and foodservice industry, you will assume a key leadership position, leveraging your extensive experience. You will be responsible for the strategic development and execution of commercial kitchen design projects within your division, contributing to organizational growth and success.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Leadership:
- Provide divisional leadership in commercial kitchen design, outlining strategic direction and objectives for the design team.
- Develop and execute design strategies to meet organizational goals.
Team Management:
- Oversee a team of designers and project managers, ensuring efficient project execution. Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation.
Project Portfolio Oversight:
- Manage the design portfolio within your division, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.
Client Engagement:
- Foster strong client relationships and serve as a primary point of contact for key clients within the division.
- Ensure client satisfaction and manage expectations effectively.
Resource Allocation:
- Optimize resource allocation, including personnel and technology, to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with other divisions for resource sharing and management.
Quality Assurance:
- Maintain high-quality standards in all design materials, reviewing and approving project drawings, layouts, and documentation.
Financial Management:
- Oversee project budgets, profitability, and financial performance. Ensure projects are delivered within budgetary constraints.
Strategic Partnerships:
- Collaborate with other divisions, architectural and engineering partners, and other stakeholders to drive project success and maintain strong industry relationships.

- You maintain high-quality standards in all design materials, ensuring precision and excellence in all aspects of project execution.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent Military or practical experience.
- 15+ years of relevant experience in commercial kitchen design, project management, and strategic leadership.
- Proven success in leading and managing design projects, including the oversight of budgets, project delivery, and team leadership.
- Advanced computer skills, including software such as Revit, Navisworks Manage, BIM360, Bluebeam, Smartsheet, AutoCAD, AutoQuotes, KCL, Skype, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Demonstrated track record of developing and executing successful design strategies, meeting organizational goals, and fostering client relationships.
- Strong industry network and established relationships with architectural and engineering partners.
- Team management and leadership experience.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.
The range provided represents the national average pay range for this position and is considered to be a general guideline. Pay for this position will reflect the candidate’s unique qualifications and may be higher or lower than the range provided based on employee geographic location. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other local, state, and federal law.
In addition to base salary, this role will be eligible for participation in TriMark’s’ benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401K (with employer match), etc. Leadership positions may also qualify for participation in bonus programs commensurate with role and scope of responsibility.
