Stock Clerk *New Store Kapaa (Full Time and Part Time)

Here we come Kapaa!  We are excited to serve the community in Kapaa with a new store opening in February 2025!

Duties and Responsibilities

• Following the Seven-Eleven Hawaii’s policies and procedures in dealing with customers.
• Maintaining all areas of the store in a neat, clean and organized manner including all store equipment.
• Maintaining a positive store image by dressing and grooming according to the company’s dress code standards.
• Following all operating procedures and company policies including the “Come of Age” and robbery/violence prevention programs.
• Maintaining awareness of all merchandise sales promotion program specifics.
• Maintaining proper food handling techniques for sanitation and spoilage control, including proper coding and rotation of food products.
• Preparing and displaying all food service products as required.
• Complete all job assignments and in-store paperwork as directed by superiors. Performing all tasks to ensure the ease of product availability for the customers.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and coworkers

Desire to be part of a results-oriented team.

Physical Requirements

This position requires constant standing, walking with occasional stooping, reaching, kneeling and crouching / squatting.  Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 20 pounds and occasional lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds is required. 

Work Environment

Work hazards are identified as frequent physical movement and occasional exposure to extreme cold while working in the vault.  Additionally, occasional exposure to cleaning solutions will occur during routine store maintenance.

Supervision

This position requires frequent supervision by the Store and Assistant Manager. This position has no supervisory responsibility of other employees.

Operating Responsibility

This position is the front line where customer contact is initiated.

Non-performance or errors in judgment could result in customer complaints, related sales loss and poor company image.

Contacts

Internal contacts are other store employees, Store Managers, Field Consultants, Training, Human Resources, and Marketing department.  External contacts are limited to customers and vendors.

This position requires completion of Seven-Eleven Hawaii’s “New Employee Training Program” and I.S.T.P (In-Store Training Program).
