We’re looking for a proactive and detail-driven Material Handler 2 to join our Production team! This role is essential to the flow of materials and products, and you’ll play a key part in ensuring our warehouse operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. If you’re a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience with powered industrial equipment, we want YOU!
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Warehouse Operations: Operate industrial equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) and warehouse tools to move, weigh, stock, and store materials.
- Inventory Management: Track inventory levels, assist with counts, and ensure everything is labeled, packed, and organized properly for easy access.
- Tech Savvy: Use JDE, RFS, and RF technology to move inventory, pick to work orders, and ensure accurate product tracking.
- Safety First: Ensure proper safety procedures are followed—inspect products for damages, maintain a clean work area, and follow all safety, environmental, and quality policies.
- Team Support: Bring raw materials to production areas and help keep production lines flowing smoothly.
- Equipment Maintenance and Organization: Clean, store, and allocate grinders and dryers to appropriate areas.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay on top of inventory maintenance, labeling, and packaging, ensuring everything is in place for seamless operations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience working in warehouse or production environments. Experience driving powered industrial equipment is a must!
- Certifications: Powered industrial equipment certification is preferred but not required—willing to train the right candidate!
- Skills:
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with precision
- Basic math and clerical skills
- Ability to safely lift/move heavy materials and products
- Strong physical stamina and a keen eye for detail
- Ability to work independently
- Basic computer skills and experience with ERP systems is a plus!
- Personality: You’re dependable, safety-focused, and ready to take on new challenges. You have a positive attitude and can keep up in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
