The Director of Quality leads the quality function of our organization - implementing strategies ensuring that products and processes meet established quality standards, solicit feedback to continuously improve processes or products, and administer an organizational quality management system and monitor progress against goals.

Job Duties

  • Implement strategies for ensuring that organizational products and processes meet established quality standards; Drive root cause analysis and problem solving activities.
  • Administer an organizational quality management system and monitor progress against strategic quality-related goals
  • Collect data that assists in the identification of potential quality failures, evaluate quality of raw materials or components, in-progress goods, processes or operations, and develop and implement corrective actions
  • Solicit internal and external feedback with the goal of continuously improving processes or products
  • Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
  • Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
  • Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Experience and Education

  • Skilled and confident in customer-facing roles, adept at building strong relationships, understanding client needs, and delivering effective solutions.
  • Has extensive experience with the concepts and principles of one or more related fields or departments
  • Lead and direct the work of other employees and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management and termination
  • Contribute to strategic planning, direction and goal setting for the department or function in collaboration with senior management
  • Establish departmental policies, practices and procedures that have a significant impact on the organization
  • Typically require a bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of experience, including some prior management experience
