Job Summary: We are seeking a talented Cold Forming Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate would have a strong background in operating and maintaining cold forming machinery to produce parts according to specifications. This is a fantastic opportunity for a mechanically inclined individual to learn about cold forming machinery and passionate about manufacturing that is eager to work in a dynamic and rewarding environment.
Shifts Available: 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) and 3rd shift (11pm-7am)
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate cold forming machines to produce high-quality metal components.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery to keep it in optimal working condition.
- Troubleshoot issues and make necessary adjustments to ensure smooth production flow.
- Inspect finished parts for defects and make adjustments as needed.
- Maintain adherence to 5S standards and follow all safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a forming operator or similar role in manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot machinery issues.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality orientation.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies and procedures.
