Project Coordinator - Sales
Job Summary
The Project Coordinator - Sales provides support for special projects critical to The Home Depot business. This role will interface with internal customers/departments as well act as a liaison with The Home Depot special projects task force. This role will also collect and provide data to support business operations and growth.
Essential Job Functions *
- Create a project management calendar, organize the project schedule and develop project strategies to ensure smooth and on-time execution.
- Assign and monitor daily tasks, ensuring milestones are met.
- Maintain detailed records of the project at every stage, and ensure all documentation is maintained appropriately.
- Organize, attend, and participate in stakeholder meetings, and document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
- Maintain and monitor project plans and schedules with all cross-functional partners as related to customer project.
- Ensure important information is shared with relevant people and communicate with the sales team appropriately.
- Assess project risks and issues and provide recommendations for solutions where applicable.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or the equivalent of education and work experience in a related field required.
- 2-4 years’ of sales experience.
Competencies – Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation (written, verbal and interpersonal) skills, able to work effectively with all user levels.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Willing to travel as needed.
