Lead Trainer
Reports To: CI Manager
Job Description: The Lead Trainer is responsible for Maintaining, delivering, and continuously improving training processes to ensure all employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to support MiCi initiatives. This role includes Conducting training, maintaining structured onboarding/cross training processes, leveraging One-Point Lessons (OPLs), and maintaining the QA, HSMS, and Sanitation training matrices, Alchemy, Bench Strength, and Coach to ensure consistent and effective learning across MiCi.
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver Training Objectives in the following:
- Onboarding, Training Matrix, Training Material, Conduct Training
- Promote TPM Culture and Continuous Learning:
- One-Point Lessons (OPLs) and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Oversee Skills Development:
- Skills Matrix, assist in execution of training plans.
- Assess Training Needs and Effectiveness:
- Identify skills/training gaps. Measure the effectiveness of training. Collect feedback.
- Train the Trainer:
- Develop and mentor trainers. Ensure consistent delivery of training.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams
- Monitor Performance and Provide Feedback
- Document and Report on Training Activities
- Support TPM Implementation and Integration
- Ensure that onboarding, OPLs, the skills matrix, and the training matrix are integrated into the overall MiCi plan, supporting the successful deployment of TPM practices across the plant.
- And other ad hoc activities as needed.
- Promote Safety and Compliance
Requirements:
- Education and Experience:
- Some Coursework or experience manufacturing and or Training. Certifications in TPM, and Lean, are a plus.
- Skills:
- Skills and Training Matrix to track and assess employee competencies.
- One-Point Lessons (OPLs)
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving abilities and the ability to adapt training to meet the needs of diverse employees.
- Attributes:
- A proactive, continuous improvement mindset.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire employees.
- High level of patience and empathy to work effectively with employees at all levels.
