LD Sales Manager - Chile

Purpose:

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will proactively lead, develop and coach the sales team in Chile. You will implement sales support strategies according to the local and global strategy.

Based on Chile and with travels to Argentina.

Educational requirements:

  • Ideally Mechanical Engineer, Commercial Engineer or related (not exclusive)

 

Experience Requirements:

  • Experience working in the field with clients.
  • SalesForce Domain
  • Food sales
  • Field Work
  • Portfolio and knowledge of food customers.
  • Mastery of components for conveyor belts, pulleys, rollers, for light loads.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in LD Industrial Sales Leadership roles

    • Proven successful sales record.
    • Strategic Planning & New Market Development.
    • Sales Team Leadership.
    • Distribution Management.
    • CRM Proficiency.

    Industry-related experience and contacts across Chile and Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay a plus.

    Fluent in English and Spanish.

 

Competency requirements:

  • At least intermediate (non-exclusive) English proficiency desirable
  • Intermediate/Advanced Excel
  • Constantly and timely propose ideas to improve established situations, facts and procedures.
  • Act proactively before situations become in trouble.
  • Implement initiatives and improvements in a judicious manner

Responsibilities:

 

  1. Responsible for generating sales of US$1 million annually.
  1. Manage the relationship with the distributors in the area in charge.
  1. Explore the light line market of items; airport, logistics, food, packaging, among others.
  1. Work with the company's technical expertise centers outside of Chile, communicating efficiently.
  1. Be responsible for the correct and timely execution of sales.
  1. Report to their headquarters the analyses of their area.
  1. Increase the number of customers and sales compared to what is existing
  1. Implement and control the KPIs of their areas in terms of sales, participation, growth, etc.
  1. Bring the SalesForce lead tracking CRM up to date.
  1. Contribute to the positive work environment through collaboration, support and respect not only from each of the members of their work group but also from the company.
