Senior Product Manager – Payments

What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Senior Product Manager – Payments within our Corpay Cross-border Payments division. This position falls under our Cross-border line of business and is located in Toronto, Canada. In this role, you will drive the strategic evolution and scalability of our fintech platform, owning high-impact initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, compliance, and customer experience, while shaping the long-term product vision. You will report directly to the Director of Product Management and regularly collaborate with Engineering, Compliance, Risk, Operations, and Client Services.

 As a Senior Product Manager – Payments, you will be expected to work in an on-site environment. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Developing and executing the product strategy, aligning with company objectives and industry trends.
  • Leading the development and enhancement of internal platforms, workflows, and automation to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Defining and refining business and technical requirements, translating them into detailed user stories and execution plans.
  • Driving Agile product development cycles, ensuring on-time delivery, and iterative improvements.
  • Partnering with stakeholders across business units to identify opportunities, gather insights, drive impactful product decisions, and communicate roadmaps and progress.
  • Leveraging data-driven decision-making, conducting in-depth analysis to measure performance, and continuously improving product offerings.
  • Staying ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and the competitive landscape to inform strategic priorities and innovation.
  • Mentoring and guiding junior product managers, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • 5+ years of product management experience in fintech, banking, or financial services, with a track record of launching and scaling products.
  • Expertise in Cross-Border payment rails (SWIFT, SEPA, ACH, Faster Payments) and deep familiarity with SWIFT messaging formats (MT & ISO 20022).
  • Experience leading initiatives involving third-party payment integrations and proprietary financial platforms.
  • Proven ability to drive internal platform optimization, automation, and operational tooling.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to define, prioritize, and execute product initiatives based on business value.
  • Experience working within cross-functional teams in Agile environments, working with Engineering, Compliance, Risk, and Operations.
  • Proficiency in product management tools (Jira, Confluence, Aha), with a data-driven mindset and experience using analytics tools.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with a track record of influencing and driving change.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a passion for understanding and solving user problems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with UX/UI collaboration for customer-facing fintech applications.
  • Technical proficiency (SQL, APIs, process automation).
  • Experience with data analytics tools.
  • Experience mentoring junior PMs and scaling product teams.
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent is a plus.

This salary range is provided for locations which require such disclosure. The disclosed range has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic markets. At Corpay, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. An estimate of the minimum and maximum salary range is $115,000 - $140,000 CAD
