What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire a QA Manager with strong technical skills experience within our Corporate Payments division. This position falls under our Corpay Cross Border line of business and is located in Toronto. In this role, will you work closely with the QA Team, Development and PM teams to maintain a top level of quality in software systems. Members of the QA Team will report directly to the QA Director and will collaborate with various teams within Corpay.

The salary range/hourly rate for this position is $125,000 - $145,000.

As a QA Manager, you will be expected to work in a hybrid environment. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Understanding and document intricate business scenarios and workflows that the applications support.
  • Identifying risks in technical designs, business logic, and integration points early in the project lifecycle.
  • Leading the creation of detailed test plans that cover edge cases, negative scenarios, and complex workflows.
  • Ensuring that functional test plans, test cases, and testing environments are created and maintained for all teams.
  • Planning the testing for large projects. Supervise testing activities, including functional, integration, end-to-end, regression, security, performance testing for sprint deliverables.
  • Reviewing functional and regression test cases and suggest improvements to ensure all scenarios are covered.
  • Verifying and review confluence documentation and other artifacts produced by the QA team.
  • Managing defects, conduct root cause analysis, and ensure timely resolution to meet project deadlines.
  • Identifying potential risks in deliverables and mitigate them with clear plans.
  • Defining and implement a comprehensive QA strategy that aligns with company goals and Agile practices.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for QA-related queries and concerns from stakeholders.
  • Working closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, QAs, and Developers to ensure test coverage aligns with product requirements.
  • Ensuring QA activities integrate seamlessly with Scrum practices, such as sprint reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
  • Managing, mentor, and support QA engineers across Scrum teams.
  • Conducting regular one-on-one meetings and performance reviews.

 Qualifications & Skills

  • 4+ years of experience Managing multiple scrum teams
  • 7+ years of experience testing complex applications
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools
  • Experience in writing SQL queries and scripts
  • Experience in object oriented programing, HTML, CSS
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor QA teams, fostering a culture of quality and collaboration.
  • Experience managing cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
  • Deep understanding of software development and testing processes, including manual and automated testing.
  • Experience with tools and frameworks for test management, automation, and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, Jenkins).
  • Experience working in Agile environments, including participation in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
  • Knowledge of QA's role in Agile practices and ensuring test coverage aligns with iterative development.
  • Strong ability to identify risks, analyze complex scenarios, and propose effective testing strategies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience in payments industry is a strong plus.

This salary range is provided for locations which require such disclosure. Where a position or applicant may fall in a particular wage range varies depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications (if applicable), and other business and organization needs. The disclosed range has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic markets.  At Corpay, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  An estimate of the minimum and maximum salary range is $125,000 - $145,000.
