Lead Generation Specialist
Corpay is currently looking to hire a Business Development Research Analyst within our cross-border division in Toronto, Canada. This position falls under our Corpay Cross-Border line of business. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and producing B2B sales leads for the new core business units globally using our internal tools or other methods. Successful candidates are likely to have a previous or current background in sales, with a focus on generating net-new leads, building pipelines, and understanding research methodologies to better identify new or existing prospects.
This individual has no direct reports but offers indirect leadership and support to the various sales leaders across the organization. This position reports to the Global Director of the Sales Enablement team and regularly collaborates with the sales team members and sales leadership within each region.

As a Business Development Research Analyst, you will be expected to work in our Toronto office. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:

Role Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and execute strategies aimed at generating high-quality B2B leads to fuel the sales pipeline and drive revenues in North America, EMEA, and APAC
- Produce net-new leads across the core business using LinkedIn Navigator, Zoominfo, D&B/Hoovers, or other research methods, either manually or via other means
- Reactivate older leads from Salesforce, and provide guidance on determining which leads are most likely to convert
- Review current predictive model, including the lead scoring and prospect grading methodology to determine if the existing process works, or if a new algorithm needs to be deployed
- Work to identify new opportunities with sales leadership across existing industries and new verticals or channels globally
- Identify industry trends, pain points, decision considerations, and touchpoint preferences
- Build a portfolio of prospect personas along with their roles and responsibilities
- Analyze lead generation metrics and KPIs to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions
- Prepare and present regular reports on lead generation performance, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders about conversions
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Proven experience in B2B sales research, lead management, demand generation, or related roles
- Strong understanding of lead management principles, lead generation and nurturing strategies, and lead scoring methodologies
- Knowledge of sales best practices, including outbound lead generation and customer lifecycle management
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), automation platforms, and lead management tools such as Zoominfo, LinkedIn Navigator, or D&B/Hoovers
- Familiarity of using Python (or equivalent) for predictive modeling and/or building a lead gen funnel to find potential prospects
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales leadership
- Self-motivation, responsibility, fast learning, an ability to work individually and collaboratively
- Familiarity or expertise with the global payments or FX sector is a plus

This salary range is provided for locations which require such disclosure. Where a position or applicant may fall in a particular wage range varies depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications (if applicable), and other business and organization needs. The disclosed range has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic markets. At Corpay, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. An estimate of the minimum and maximum salary range is $65,000 - $80,000 + bonus.
