Corpay is currently looking to hire a Client Service Team Lead within our Cross Border division. This position falls under our Cross Border line of business and is located in Toronto, ON. This role will require you to work with a sophisticated institutional client base including alternative funds, private capital managers, family offices and other institutional investors, as well as their administration agents and other service providers. You will support our North American sales teams' daily activities, ensuring efficiency. Success requires high service standards, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to excel in a collaborative, fast-paced, performance-driven environment. You will report directly to SVP of Global Institutional Sales and regularly collaborate with Cross Border team.

How We Work

As a Client Service Team Lead ,you will be expected to work in our Toronto office. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:

Role Responsibilities

  • Act as main contact for clients and service groups, addressing inquiries from fund managers and stakeholders.
  • Attend and contribute to client and regulatory meetings to improve service performance.
  • Provide periodic reports on client issues and department activities.
  • Support sales team with creating sales collateral, due diligence materials, and managing marketing campaigns.
  • Coordinate and book new client meetings; communicate with prospects on documentation and submission status.
  • Manage client records, onboarding, and credit applications in Salesforce CRM, ensuring SLAs are met.
  • Assist senior sales leaders with data collation, sales pipeline information, and call recordings.
  • Maintain knowledge of the alternative investment industry and private funds marketplace in North America.
  • Review and discuss fund PPMs/OMs, investment strategies, fund structures, and cash flows in alternative funds.
  • Supervise team growth, conduct performance appraisals, and complete required training and administrative duties.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in client services role within financial services, ideally with a background in fund administration or alternative investments.
  • Strong understanding of the alternative investment space, including private equity, hedge funds, real estate, venture capital, and other institutional investment models.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and knowledge of Salesforce is an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to clearly and effectively communicate and build relationships with sophisticated clients and their service providers.
  • Highly motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently to help the broader. team meet its objectives. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously is critical.

This salary range is provided for locations which require such disclosure. Where a position or applicant may fall in a particular wage range varies depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications (if applicable), and other business and organization needs. The disclosed range has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic markets.  At Corpay, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  An estimate of the minimum and maximum salary range is $65,000 - $75,000 + commissions.
