Training Specialist

We have an incredible opportunity for a dynamic Training Specialist to join our growing New York Team!

Responsibilities:   

• Conduct multiple weekly employee orientation sessions and support additional training programs as needed.
• Design and develop training programs based on various learning styles and instructional best practices in collaboration with the L&D Manager.
• Engage employees in dynamic and effective learning experiences.
• Build strong relationships with leadership to assess and support department-specific training needs.
• Develop and update technical and skills training materials to align with company goals.
• Maintain, track, and report employee training history records.
• Promote employee engagement initiatives and collaborate with both local and national teams.
• Design and develop company-wide communication templates to support training and engagement efforts.
• Manage and contribute to special projects as assigned.
• Provide support to the Human Resources in various employee relationship duties. 

Qualifications:  

• Bachelor’s Degree in Training & Development, Human Resources Management, or a related field preferred.
• 2 years of experience in L&D or in a training environment with HR expertise. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Engaging facilitation and presentation skills for diverse employee groups.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently with confidence and take initiative.
• High level of interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with employees and leadership.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Willingness to travel up to 60%.
• Conversational proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
