Content Editor Intern
Summary:
We are seeking a creative, organized, and driven Content Editor Intern to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT or in Los Angeles, CA. This internship is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual interested in video production, storytelling, and creative organization. As a Content Editor Intern, you will play a vital role in organizing and editing internal company videos, helping streamline our content for training, onboarding, and internal communications. An in-depth understanding of photography and film principals, communication through storytelling, and content management is needed. As is an additional desired interest to learn and develop new skillsets that further effectiveness. The qualified intern will work closely with the marketing team to create photo and video assets for marketing materials used for online and in-person conferences, support the onsite sales center and other marketing content as needed.
Responsibilities:
Content Organization: Organize and catalog existing and new video assets for easy access and reference, ensuring content is systematically archived.
• Video Editing: Edit internal videos, including training materials, team highlights, company updates, and events, to produce clear, engaging, and onbrand content. Intern - Content Editor 3
• Quality Control: Ensure all video deliverables meet quality standards, maintaining consistency in style, formatting, and messaging.
• Collaboration: Work closely with team members to understand video objectives, requirements, and timelines.
• Asset Management: Assist in organizing assets (footage, graphics, music, etc.) and managing file structure and naming conventions.
• Basic Post-Production: Apply basic color correction, sound editing, and motion graphics to improve the quality of the content.
Requirements:
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Film, Media, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proficiency in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Understanding of content organization principles, including file management and archiving systems.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of post-production skills, including color correction and sound editing, is preferred.
• Creative mindset with an interest in storytelling and visual communication.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the team and adapt to feedback.
Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
The hourly pay for this position is $16.90/hr.
