Job Summary
The Crisis Mobile Response Team Counselor is responsible for the clinical oversight of the Crisis Mobile Response Teams in the State of Idaho. Crisis Mobile Response Team Counselor duties will include, but not limited to, guiding Idaho Crisis Mobile Response Team (ICMRT) staff during active interventions and risk assessments, monitoring of program efficacy, oversight and in the moment supervision of ICMRT staff, implementing services and programming for best practice of care to members, and ensuring ICMRT staff are supported in clinical direction for the members. The Crisis Mobile Response Team Counselor will provide essential functions to the team in regard to clinical accuracy for level of care recommendations while maintaining integrity to best practice recommendations and national guidelines for the crisis system of care. The Idaho Crisis Mobile Response Team Counselor will coordinate with the Idaho Director of Clinical Services and the Idaho Program Manager for ongoing supervision and oversight needs of ICMRT staff, coordinate with community partners, business leaders, stake holders and other agency programming to promote CBI’s values and mission. The Crisis Mobile Response Team Counselor provides an essential role in the delivery of CBI’s mission to Maintain the Dignity of Human Life.
Skills/Requirements:
- Master’s degree in counseling or social work from an accredited program required.
- Two (2) years of post-master's degree, full-time equivalent, professional experience in a psychiatric setting required.
- Professionals with crisis setting experience are preferred
- Independently Licensed Professional with The Idaho Division of Occupational & Professional Licenses as Social Worker, Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist or Substance Abuse Counselor.
- Current ID Driver’s License (valid and in good standing).
- Clean 39-month Motor Vehicle Record.
- ID Background Check Clearance.
