About the M&P Division

Working across the full scope of the adult division, Simon & Schuster Fiction, Simon & Schuster Non-Fiction, Gallery, Scribner and Summit, our award-winning Marketing and Publicity team work in collaboration and lead on all communication and consumer strategy. Recent campaign successes include, Colleen Hoover, Bob Mortimer, David Grann, Britney Spears and Mona Awad.

 

The Job Profile

Reporting to the Head of Marketing the successful candidate will strategically manage campaigns for exciting publications across both non-fiction and fiction across Simon & Schuster, Gallery, Scribner and Summit in 2025/2026.

 

The Job Role

You will have responsibility for developing, coordinating, and managing lead marketing campaigns across a range of genres, working closely with the publicity, editorial, design and sales teams to create imaginative, effective and integrated campaigns. You will plan and deliver creative consumer campaigns targeting identified audiences, utilising the full marketing mix both online and offline, ensuring critical paths are met, budgets are managed, and the highest level of author care is provided.

 

As part of a global company, there are opportunities to work in partnership with international colleagues and implement global marketing strategies for shared authors.

 

The Candidate Profile

We are looking for a talented individual who is able to demonstrate strong marketing skills and an excellent understanding of book publishing.  The chosen candidate will display strategic thinking and consumer and trend awareness. You will have the skill set to tap into target audiences, a keen eye for design and the ability to deliver impactful, creative campaigns across all media. You will have experience of multi-channel and multi-platform campaigns that create market cut-through.

 

With the ability to juggle multiple projects and competing priorities, an excellent eye for detail, you will be a great team player and communicator. You will be excited about bringing passion and new ideas to our marketing activities.
