Systems Control Technician

This role will be within the Maintenance team and work closely with Mechanics, Electro-Mechanics, Engineers, and Equipment Operators to troubleshoot, diagnose, and find solutions to equipment issues. Cross collaboration across teams is key in this environment.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment such as, but not limited to: AC/DC drives and motors, programmable logic controllers, process controllers, stepper & servo motors and controllers, hydraulic and pneumatic devices, and plant support equipment.
  • Install, service, and troubleshoot equipment up to 480 volts.
  • Review, interpret, and edit blueprints, electrical schematics, sketches, vendor drawings and manuals in the performance of this job.
  • Utilize Dynamics 365 Maintenance Management software to document maintenance activities such as condition found, parts used, repairs completed, and time charged to build a maintenance record for future troubleshooting.
  • Works with Maintenance Planner and Engineering to make improvements to equipment through corrective maintenance procedures.
  • Complete Work Orders for Emergency Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, and Corrective Maintenance per SOPs and other requirements.
  • Adheres to all FDA and DEA regulations.
  • Completes all requirement cGMP training, SOP training and other required legal and HR training.
  • Perform other related duties and tasks established by plant management as necessary for the effective and efficient conduct of company business.
  • Work a 12-hour shift schedule  

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Kindeva is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

  • Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher from an accredited institution
  • Possess at least one of the following:
    • minimum of 3 years prior experience as an automation technician in a private, public, government, or military environment
    • A technical degree or diploma with emphasis in a field related to electrical engineering technology or automation
  • PLC experience, preferably with Allen Bradley PLCs

Must be able to read, write legibly, understand and communicate effectively in English. Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Associate degree in a Technical discipline such as Automation Controls
  • PLC experience with multiple versions of Allen Bradley PLCs
  • Serialization Experience
  • Robotics Experience
  • Industrial motor drive controls troubleshooting experience
  • Experience working with electrical equipment
  • Industrial maintenance experience
  • Experience troubleshooting and problem solving in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work independently or with teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
