Account Manager
Job Description: Advance Instruments is a manufacturer’s representative and distributor company headquartered in Brecksville Ohio. We are seeking an industrious and ambitious Outside Sales Engineer for the Northern Ohio/Western PA territory with 3 to 7 years of instrumentation sales experience in the industrial and municipal markets.
Job Responsibilities:
As an Account Manager for Advance Instruments you will strive to grow your respective territory to its full potential by contacting new and existing customer to discuss their needs and explain the benefits of our specific product selection.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Identifying customer needs and problems with a proactive account mapping of applications
- Present creative solutions to customers that provide improved performance & cost savings
- Maintaining customer records using automated CRM systems (Salesforce)
- Quoting prices, credit terms and reviewing specifications
- Preparing sales contracts for orders obtained and submitting orders for processing
- Collaborating to exchange market information and selling strategies with the sales team
- Providing regular sales forecasts and appropriate feedback from the field
Requirements
As an Account Manager you must be driven to expand your territory and grow your business year over year. We are seeking a confident and motivated individual who’ll run their region with an entrepreneurial mindset.
Additional requirements of the Outside Sales Consultant include:
- A Bachelor of Science degree is preferred.
- 3 to 7 years’ experience selling technical products
- Sales experience selling to industries like water and wastewater, power generation, chemical processing, manufacturing and food and beverage
- Use of Micro Soft Office Products
