Due to growth, Filtration World is seeking a qualified candidate to join our sales team!
We are an E-commerce company that is a part of King Filtration and Total Filtration Services, which has over 60 years of sales to our customers. Qualified candidates will thrive in an exciting growth-oriented company that offers new and exciting challenges daily.
This position is heavily oriented towards customer service, customer relationship management, sales growth, sales administrative work and product marketing. Most calls are inbound, however some follow up calls are required with customers to discuss their projects and contacting vendors.
This key position is responsible for:
- Provide sales and service support to incoming leads on the phone, through our website, and via our online chat platform with little to no travel required
- Analyzing price and delivery dates, locating products, creating quotes, managing order acknowledgements, and providing a high level of service to all customers
- Processing & expediting orders, customer returns, & vendor returns in an accurate and timely manner
- Identify customer needs, providing solutions and recommending new and better products
- Be the liaison between our customers and our vendors for sales, service, discount structure, and pricing
- Working as a team with the manager and other sales reps to support customer satisfaction and sales growth
- Growing profitable market share by presenting value-added services & add-ons
- Resolving customer problems, investigating issues, and utilizing management for resolution when necessary
- Participating in sales related activities such as sales meetings, supplier meetings, and sales training
- Working with other departments on customer-related developments and issues such as Purchasing, Accounting and the Warehouse
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industrial customer service and sales experience related to inside or outside sales
- Demonstrated computer skills and experience with typical sales order entry and inventory software applications, database systems, and CRM tools
- Knowledge of the filtration market
- Industrial employment background
- Experience with customers in power generation, refineries, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, and food & beverage
- BS or BA Degree
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated computer skills and experience with MS Excel (especially important), MS Word, and Outlook
- Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proven strong organization & planning skills. Detail oriented
- Proven skills and aptitude to thrive in a customer-focused and results-driven environment
- Demonstrated business math skills
- Ability to manage stress and time pressure
- Sales orientation
- Excellent administrative talents and have ability to quickly and efficiently learn new product technologies
