For many of our customers, our field technicians are the face of ReapAir Compressor Services. As one of our field technicians, you will play an important part in providing exceptional service and meeting the needs of our customers, as well as building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Repairs, maintenance and service for compressed air equipment will be done at client on-site locations in the South Western Ontario (more specifically in the London area) and in the GTA.

Your role in our team:
Reporting to the Service Manager and service coordinator, the service technician is called upon to answer various service calls. Answering preventive maintenance calls as well as emergency calls, he/she travels to the customer's site for the maintenance and repair of compressors and/or other compressed air system equipment. Considering the nature of the position, a service vehicle is provided.
Role and responsibilities :
- Diagnosis, troubleshooting and repairs of components/issues for the customer’s compressors;
- Perform preventative maintenance procedures on compressors, dryers, tanks, filters, drains, fans, motors, etc.;
- Ensure clients receive a professional level of service by adhering to ReapAir’s principal of “Customer first and first time right” as well as respecting the operational processes and associated procedures;
- Installations and start-ups of air compressors;
- Expected to know and committed to meet time frame targets for service, maintenance and breakdowns;
- Report and discuss status of client’s compressed air equipment with appropriate client representative;
- Thoroughly document and record work performed on machinery;
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment;
- All other related duties as assigned by service manager.
** Aware of, and able to handle, all physical aspects of the position including but not limited to climbing ladders and carrying heavy equipment. **
*** Must be able to work overtime if required and be part of the ‘’on call’’ rotation. ***
*Occasional: Travel and overnight stay*
REQUIREMENTS :
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar role;
- Training in industrial, mechanical, pneumatic or millwright equipment;
- Experience in compressor servicing or in a related field;
- Knowledge of industrial air compressor components or pumps, air dryers, etc.;
- Valid driver's license is required (with a clean abstract);
- Fluent in English, including reading/writing skills.
