Summary
As the EP&SI Sales Specialist, you will manage both direct accounts and provide support and training to other sales staff. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in technical sales leadership, a deep understanding of environmental instrumentation, and a collaborative approach to assisting and developing other team members.
Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and increase market share within the region.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and provide guidance to sales account managers, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain key client relationships, understanding their needs and ensuring the team provides effective solutions using the company's instrumentation products.
- Assistance and Support: Provide training, guidance, and support to the sales team, assisting with complex sales situations and ensuring the team is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
- Strategic Planning: Drive the development and execution of sales strategies, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market trends.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, technical support, and customer service, to ensure a cohesive and responsive approach to client needs.
- Performance Monitoring: Implement metrics and key performance indicators to monitor and evaluate the success of sales initiatives and adjust strategies as needed.
- Reporting: Provide regular and accurate reports to the executive team, reporting on sales performance, market trends, and team development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Extensive experience in technical sales leadership, with a focus on environmental, process, and safety instrumentation.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing sales teams.
- Strong understanding of relevant industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
