Staff Engineer - Kotlin Multiplatform

Who we are looking for:

As the Lead Mobile Developer for ACV/MAX Digital, you will be leading the development of several mobile applications and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and promote ACV’s technologies to all of our customers

• Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
• Work closely with our product and design teams to develop the future of MAX Digital’s mobile applications.
• Collaborate with multiple engineering teams to define, design and ship new features.
• Lead a team of engineers to build and maintain high performance, reusable and reliable Java, Swift & Kotlin Multiplatform code.
• Manage and report on the progress of ongoing initiatives.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our codebase, development processes, tools and methodologies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

What you will need:

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Advanced degrees are a plus.
• 5+ years of professional experience in native mobile development, preferably hands-on experience with both Android and iOS.
• Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience leading teams of developers and quality engineers with full ownership of at least 1 whole application.
• Proficient with:
  • Swift, Java and Kotlin
  • Version control systems (Git)
  • Project Management systems (Jira)
• Experience maintaining and extending an existing codebase, adapting to pre-existing patterns and tracing the code’s path of execution.
• Experience developing unit tests.
• Familiarity with GraphQL and RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to back-end services.
• Experience with build & deployment automation (CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins/TeamCity).
• Experience releasing apps to the Apple Play Store and the Google Play Store.
• Experience with implementing mobile E2E (UI) test automation is a plus.##LI-CM2
