Analytics Engineer I Infrastructure

Core Mandate:

The Analytics Engineer’s primary objective is to guide ACV in identifying and meeting the needs of its customers. This role is focused primarily on optimizing our existing Analytics Infrastructure and helping support any future technological migrations.

What you will do (Responsibilities):

• Monitor our Analytics Infrastructure vendors (BigQuery, Airflow, Tableau Cloud, Fivetran, Kubernetes, etc) resource usage and optimize usage/costs accordingly

• Support our Analytics Engineers when onboarding or migrating to new infrastructure platforms

• Focus on the fundamentals of great questions, good process, competent analysis, clear communication, team wins, and focused contribution to the company’s needs

What you will need (Skills, Experience, Education):

• BA/BS in Statistics, Business Administration, Operations Research, or similar computationally intensive degree -or- college/university degree in Computer Science or relevant field.

• Strong Experience with SQL

• Experience analyzing complex queries and transformations on large data sets

• Experience with data visualization / dashboarding tools like Tableau 

• Functional competency in Python or similar scripting language
