Who we are looking for:
ACV is seeking a rising leader to join our M&A deals team as an Associate, Mergers and Acquisitions. The M&A deals team helps accelerate ACV’s strategic roadmap by identifying and executing acquisitions and other investments. The right candidate is strategic, analytical, creative, relationship-oriented, and results-oriented.
What you will do:
- Develop a detailed understanding of ACV’s strategic objectives and market landscape, gather competitive industry intelligence, and help identify high potential acquisition opportunities across existing and future market verticals and geographies. Advise and challenge M&A strategy
- Drive deal analysis, including valuation, business case construction, deal structuring, thorough development of financial and operating models, and robust post-acquisition scorecards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across ACV and advisors on all aspects of M&A including deal management and due diligence
- Produce effective board level and company presentations related to M&A and investments
- Partner with internal Integrations function and business partners to ensure deal objectives are met
- Undertake special projects and business initiatives
What you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or other relevant field
- Two or more years experience in investment banking or private equity preferred
- Superior analytical and financial modeling skills and deep familiarity with accounting and operational concepts
- Strong interest in technology and marketplace businesses
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative findings and create structure around ambiguity
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects across a broad set of stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, strategic, curious, growth-minded, motivated self-starter
- Flexible, zero-ego team player who consistently builds trust and strong relationships
- Stellar written and oral communication skills
- Willing to travel as necessary
Compensation: $79,000.00 - $110,000.00 annually. Please note that final compensation will be determined based upon the applicant's relevant experience, skillset, location, business needs, market demands, and other factors as permitted by law.
