Who are we looking for:
As a Product Manager for our ACV Capital Team you’ll be responsible for developing the tools and strategies needed to manage lending risk in one of the fastest growing teams at ACV. This role will be accountable for optimizing operational execution, reaching targeted loss rates, and supporting the business through entrepreneurial challenges with simple milestones - such as opening up new channels and securitizing. Leading with data, you’ll be driving forward industry leading solutions to empower the business for its next phase of growth.
What you will do:
- Evaluate and optimize operational processes to ensure compliance with formal policy
- Utilize data collection & analysis to support proactive risk identification
- Work with account management, credit, audit, and operations teams to analyze needs
- Support needs around internal/external audit and ensure compliance with any legal & regulatory requirements
- Develop business requirements for engineering teams
- Develop release marketing and strategies for new capabilities and features
- Lead in the execution & delivery of features & products
- Creation and presentation of plans and impacts
- Inform prioritization framework for your product
- Contribute to build, buy, partner analysis
- Creation of 6-month roadmap for your products
- Create functional user stories and acceptance criteria
- Participate in agile ceremonies
- Define product lifecycle for your product
- Collaborate with design, analysts and engineering to plan development schedule
- Contribute to discussions with technology and executive leadership to inform, gain consensus and problem solve
What you will need:
- 5-7 years in the banking or financial services with experience in risk management or lending operations
- Experience defining, optimizing, and automating operational processes
- Ability to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements with a history of successfully supporting external audits
- Experience in the floorplan industry is desired, but not necessary
- Bachelor’s or Master’s; related field
- Demonstrated product delivery
- Creative problem solving skills
- Strong customer focus
- Excellent communications skills
